The Pecorino Toscano PDO, is a cheese
made with sheep's milk, and there are produced in two
types, fresh and aged. 1) The fresh type has
light yellow crust and white paste with a soft
consistency. The flavour is very sweet. 2) The
aged type, has littledifferences. The rind is black or
light red, the paste is the same yellow as the fesh
type, but the flavour is much stronger but never spicy.
The Pecorino Toscano is produced only in Toscana’s
Region, or any other countries of Lazio and Umbria. |
